In response to user requests, Canon has released a firmware update that expands the versatility and functionality of the EOS 5D Mark III. This update enables the camera to export clean, uncompressed HDMI output to an external recorder, while still being able to record to internal CF or SD cards and monitor the video on the rear LCD display.
