Nigerian music icons Davido and Burna Boy, alongside other top Nigerian artists, are set to perform at the first-ever Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) All-Star Game, blending music and sports in a groundbreaking entertainment event.
The event, organized in collaboration with Nilayo Sports Management, will feature a highly anticipated football match between the top players from the NPFL’s Northern and Southern regions.
During a press conference in Abuja, NPFL Chairman Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye highlighted the event’s importance, comparing its excitement to that of the 2023 Super 6 Tournament.
He emphasized the role the game will play in promoting the league and attracting attention nationwide.
The All-Star Game will feature 44 top players, with 22 players representing each region. In addition to showcasing their football prowess, each player will receive an appearance fee of ₦1 million.
This event promises to be a unique celebration of football, music, and entertainment, enhancing the visibility of Nigerian soccer talent.
