More Apple Intelligence Features Support in the iOS 18.4.

Apple has revealed when iOS 18.4, its upcoming major update for the iPhone, will be available. It is anticipated to be released in April and will add to the suite of artificial intelligence (AI) features that the Cupertino-based tech behemoth has already added with earlier versions. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the update would increase the availability of the aforementioned AI features to accommodate additional languages and localities.

Timeline for the Release of iOS 18.4
Apple has added fresh information to its iOS 18 page after releasing the iPhone 16e, the company’s newest entry-level model. The page, which was first seen by Macrumors, now claims that new AI functions and support for additional languages and locales will be made available in “early April.”

Apple claims that it will add support for Chinese (Simplified), English (India, Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish to its list of Apple Intelligence capabilities. In the meantime, additional languages, including Vietnamese, will be supported in the upcoming months.

The business has not yet released a developer beta of the upcoming major iPhone update, which is expected to be released in the next two months. Notably, at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024, Apple promoted iOS 18.4, which was initially expected to deliver a smarter Siri. In order to deliver relevant and personalised responses to questions, the digital assistant will be equipped with the capacity to access a user’s personal information and see what is displayed on their phone screen.

That might not be the case anymore, though. According to a recent rumour, software flaws and engineering issues are preventing the iPhone manufacturer from releasing the AI-powered Siri. As a result, Apple may postpone its distribution until May or later, delaying it from the original timeline. However, the business could potentially meet the deadline by deactivating a few features that aren’t yet performing at their best for a later release.
