The Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone’s Chinese launch date has officially been revealed by Xiaomi. In the company’s domestic market, it will be unveiled with the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric vehicle. Official pictures of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s design have also been released by the company. It is confirmed that the phone would come with a HyperOS interface and cameras bearing the Leica name. The tech company is also preparing to launch its camera flagship globally at MWC 2025.
At 7:00 p.m. local time (4:30 p.m. IST) on February 27, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be launched in China. At the same event, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra EV, RedmiBook 16 Pro 2025, and Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro earbuds are expected to make their formal debuts. Xiaomi is using its China website and Weibo handle to tease the phone’s design.
In China, Xiaomi is already accepting pre-orders for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra through Mi Mall. The phone’s dual-tone finish is depicted in the official renders. Xiaomi appears to have paid homage to vintage Leica cameras by combining glass and vegan leather. The ‘Ultra’ label is italicised in the upper-right corner of the rear panel.
