During an interview with comedian and actor Broda Shaggi at the launch of his new Puma collection, Davido shared insights into his fashion choices and gave fans a preview of his next album.
The award-winning artist referred to his fourth album, Timeless, as his best work to date.
When asked about what influences his style, the Grammy-nominated singer explained his love for urban fashion, while also tailoring his wardrobe to fit different occasions.
“People say I dress like a rapper because I’m into urban fashion. I like wearing T-shirts, jeans, and sneakers to stay comfortable. But when it’s time for business, you’ll catch me in a suit. I also wear Agbada sometimes,” Davido revealed.
As for which album he considers his greatest, Davido proudly named Timeless, his record-breaking fourth album, released on March 31, 2023. The album achieved remarkable success, setting streaming records on platforms like Spotify Nigeria, Audiomack, Boomplay, and YouTube in both its first day and first week of release.
In the same interview, Davido hinted that his upcoming album will surpass Timeless in quality. He had previously made similar claims earlier in the year during a conversation with American content creator Kai Cenat.
