India Launches Poco M6 Plus 5G with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE SoC, 108-Megapixel Camera: Price, Details
The new smartphone runs on the latest Android 14-based HyperOS operating system.
Thursday was the Indian debut of Poco M6 Plus 5G. The phone has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE (accelerated edition) CPU and up to 8GB RAM. It has dual-sided glass and IP53 dust and splash protection. It has a 6.79-inch 120Hz full-HD+ Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display and a 108-megapixel dual back camera. The phone joins the Poco M6 5G and M6 Pro 5G.

The 6GB + 128GB Poco M6 Plus 5G costs Rs. 13,499 in India, while the 8GB + 128GB costs Rs. 14,499. Flipkart will sell the phone in India at 12pm IST on August 5. Graphite Black, Ice Silver, and Misty Lavender are its colors.

The Poco M6 Plus 5G has a 6.79-inch full-HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone has up to 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE (accelerated edition) SoC. Another 8GB virtual RAM is available. HyperOS on Android 14 supports two Android upgrades and four years of security patches.
Dual rear cameras on the Poco M6 Plus 5G include a 108-megapixel primary sensor with 3x in-sensor zoom and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Front-facing 13-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The 5,030mAh Poco M6 Plus 5G supports 33W wired fast charging. It supports 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor provides security. The phone is IP53 dust- and splash-resistant. The phone weighs 205g and dimensions 168.6 x 76.28 x 8.3mm.
