The Finnish firm HMD (Human Mobile Devices) introduced the HMD Skyline as the most recent mobile device. The latest product has a design similar to the Lumia 920 and has a 6.55-inch screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The HMD Skyline operates on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 CPU and has a triple back camera arrangement, with a primary camera boasting a resolution of 108 megapixels. The architecture of the device allows for easy screen replacement utilizing iFixit’s self-repair kits. The HMD Skyline features a 4,600mAh battery that supports both wired and wireless charging.
The cost of the HMD Skyline
The HMD Skyline is available at a starting price of EUR 399 (about Rs. 36,000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The 12GB + 256GB version is priced at EUR 499 (approximately Rs. 45,000). The product comes in Neon Pink and Twisted Black color options.

- The HMD Skyline, which features a dual SIM (Nano+eSIM), operates on Android 14. HMD officially announced that it will receive operating system upgrades for two years and security updates for three years. The device has a 6.55-inch full-HD+ pOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a peak brightness of up to 1000nits. The display is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for further protection. The device operates on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 CPU, with a maximum capacity of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The storage capacity may be increased to 1 terabyte by using a microSD card.
