Renowned Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro has unveiled an exciting new movie project titled 3 Cold Dishes, set to premiere in the first quarter of 2025. The film features a groundbreaking collaboration with Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, marking his debut in Nollywood.
Speaking on a podcast, Osas highlighted the film’s adventurous essence and its unique multilingual approach, incorporating English, Yoruba, and French. The story traverses French-speaking countries like Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, and Benin, promising an immersive cultural experience.
“It’s an adventure film where we speak English, Yoruba, and French. We are going through French-speaking countries from Nigeria to Côte d’Ivoire to Benin. I love it. We have Wale Ojo in it, we have myself, and actresses from Côte d’Ivoire. I am also a producer on the project as well as Burna Boy. I’m so proud of this film,” Osas shared.
Osas, known for her exceptional roles in Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story and Man of God, continues to solidify her influence in Nollywood. She was the highest-grossing Nollywood actress of 2018 and has won the prestigious AMVCA Best Actress in a Drama award consecutively in 2022 and 2023.
