The Minister of State for Industry, Trade, and Investment, John Enoh, has pledged to drive Nigeria’s economic growth through industrial development.
Speaking in Abuja during his official resumption, Enoh expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and outlined his commitment to revitalizing the nation’s industrial sector.
Appointed in President Bola Tinubu’s recent cabinet reshuffle on October 23, 2024, Enoh confirmed that he would temporarily operate from the Bank of Industry (BoI) until his office at the ministry is fully functional.
He emphasized the essential role of industrialization in boosting economic progress and highlighted the need for strong leadership and targeted policies to support the industry sector.
Enoh urged collaboration among ministry staff, stating, “There is a need to review existing industrial plans and policies to better align with contemporary challenges.” He expressed confidence in the ministry’s potential to make a significant impact on the industrial landscape.
Permanent Secretary Amb. Rimi affirmed the staff’s readiness to support Enoh in driving Nigeria’s industrial revitalization.
