Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition will hit select markets starting next week, according to an announcement from the company.
This new foldable smartphone is designed to be thinner and lighter than the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6, which launched earlier this year.
It also features enhancements in the camera system and display, although its initial release will be limited to South Korea.
Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition starts at KRW 2,789,600 (approximately Rs. 1,70,000) in South Korea. It comes in a single configuration of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, available in a Black Shadow colorway. Customers can purchase the device beginning October 25 through the official Samsung website and various online platforms, including T Direct Shop, KT, and Eu+. Buyers will receive discount coupons for other Samsung products, such as the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition boasts slightly larger displays than its predecessor, featuring an 8-inch internal and a 6.5-inch external screen. In comparison, the standard model has a 6.3-inch external and a 7.60-inch internal screen. The outer display has a 21:9 aspect ratio, while the internal display features a 20:18 aspect ratio.
This special edition model also enhances ergonomics, measuring 1.5mm thinner and 3g lighter than the standard Z Fold 6, with a thickness of 10.6mm and a weight of 236g. For photography, Samsung upgraded the main wide-angle camera to 200 megapixels, while other lenses remain unchanged.
Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It also supports Galaxy AI, Samsung’s suite of artificial intelligence features designed for its smartphones and other devices.
