The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024) and MatePad 12 X were introduced in certain worldwide regions a month after their China debut. The MatePad 12X has a 12-inch LCD screen and a 10,100mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging, while the Pro has a 12.2-inch OLED display and a dual-cell battery with quicker charging. Both tablets have 13-megapixel back and 8-megapixel front cameras.

Huawei’s MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024) with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs GBP 699.99 (Rs. 77,800), while the 512GB edition costs GBP 799.99. It will come in Black (Standard) and Gold (PaperMatte), with the latter having a paper-like display for writing.
The Huawei MatePad 12 X 12GB + 256GB costs GBP 549.99 (Rs. 61,100). UK shipping begins September 27. It comes in Greenery and White throughout the nation. The worldwide website lists a third Sakura Pink tablet hue.

The MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024) boasts a 12.2-inch 2.8K (1,840×2,800 pixels) Tandem OLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate and 2,000nits peak brightness. PaperMatte displays with nanoscale textures are available for the tablet. Huawei says its finish mimics paper writing.
The HarmonyOS-powered MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024) has an octa-core Kirin T91 processor. Up to 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM are included.
MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024) has a 13-megapixel back camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. The front has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
Huawei says the MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024) includes eight speakers and a dual-cell 5,050mAh battery (effectively 10,100mAh) that can be charged in 55 minutes using a 100W SuperCharge adaptor. It weighs 508g and measures 182.53×271.25×5.5mm.

The Huawei MatePad 12 X has a 12-inch 2.8K (1,840×2,800 pixels) LCD screen with 144Hz refresh rate, 1,000 nits peak brightness, and triple TÜV Rheinland certification. As with the MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024), PaperMatte displays are available.
The tablet has 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and runs HarmonyOS 4.2. Huawei has not announced the MatePad 12 X processor. Its camera specs match the MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024).
The tablet has six stereo speakers and one-touch split-screen. It works with the 3rd Gen Huawei MPencil and Smart Magnetic Keyboard.
Huawei MatePad 12 X has a 10,100mAh battery and 66W wired rapid charging. Tablet connectivity includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, OTG, and USB Type-C. It weighs 555g and measures 183x270x5.9mm.
