Ola Electric Bike Launch

Everything We Know About the August 15 Ola Electric Bike Launch in India

Ola Electric bike teasers on social media show KTM-style small turn indicators on the front and rear.

Ola Electric bike will premiere in India on August 15 at its annual “Sankalp 2024” event at FutureFactory in Tamil Nadu. Bhavish Aggarwal’s two-wheeler EV may be the company’s first. It will join the Ola S1X, S1 Air, and S1 Pro in India’s electric two-wheeler fleet. Ola has previewed the bike’s design on social media.

India Launch Date

Ola Electric announced its August 15 bike launch. Whether it will be sold this year is unknown. Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said in July that the business will offer electric bikes in the “first six months” of 2025.

It should compete with other Indian electric motorcycles when introduced. It may compete with entry-level bikes like the Tork Kratos R and Revolt RV400 or high-performance EVs like Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 and Matter Aera, depending on price.

Expected Features

According to a teaser on X (previously Twitter), the bike may include a dual-pod LED light on the front fascia like its S1 electric scooter. Top has a horizontal LED strip and sides have two vertical strips. Though unofficial, these may be turn indications. A hazy photograph of the bike provided by Aggarwal a few days ago showed KTM-style tiny turn indicators on the front and rear.

Its social media photographs also imply a right-side-up telescopic fork suspension. CEO photos from recent weeks suggest a chain final drive, huge battery, and tubular frame.

Ola’s in-house batteries power the electric bike.
