A new blue checkmark is trickling out to WhatsApp beta testers who downloaded the newest version for Android, according to WABetaInfo.
WhatsApp’s revamped colour palette will increase uniformity across the company’s applications, making it easier for Facebook and Instagram users to verify authenticity.
WhatsApp’s beta testers on Android have received the revised verification tick, while iOS users may receive it in the next days or weeks. It will reach all platforms’ stable update channels, including WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop.
