Salah feels Liverpool’s offer is inadequate

Mohamed Salah has expressed his disappointment over Liverpool’s failure to offer him a new contract, suggesting that he is more likely to leave the club than stay.

The 32-year-old forward, who leads Liverpool as the top scorer this season with 12 goals across all competitions, will become a free agent at the end of the current campaign.

Salah’s comments came after his two-goal performance in Liverpool’s 3-2 victory over Southampton, where he also scored the winning penalty, helping the team extend their lead to eight points at the top of the Premier League.

Speaking to reporters after the match, Salah revealed his frustration: “We are almost in December, and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay at the club. I’m probably more out than in.”

When asked if he was disappointed by the lack of a contract offer, Salah responded, “Of course, yeah. I’m not going to retire soon, so I’m just playing, focusing on the season, and trying to win the Premier League and hopefully the Champions League as well. I’m disappointed, but we will see.”

The comments suggest growing uncertainty over Salah’s future at Anfield, with no new contract offer yet on the table.
