Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage has offered her thoughts on the rise of Nigerian entertainers, linking their emergence to the economic struggles faced by many young Nigerians.
Speaking on the Shopping The Sneakers podcast, the acclaimed singer emphasized how living in Nigeria shapes resilience, creativity, and a strong drive to succeed among its youth.
“When you come to Nigeria, you will understand why we breed so many superstars,” she said. “Surviving in Nigeria is something else, so the artists that come out of Nigeria are like hustlers. They’re just hustling.”
Her remarks shed light on how adversity often fuels ambition and innovation in the country’s vibrant entertainment industry.
