Vice President Shettima Presides Over National Economic Council (NEC) Meeting
Vice President Kashim Shettima is currently presiding over a National Economic Council (NEC) meeting at the State House in Abuja. The meeting, which is being attended by state governors, some deputy governors, and key members of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic team, is expected to focus on addressing key economic issues affecting the nation.
To begin the proceedings, Vice President Shettima allowed Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, who is attending the NEC meeting for the first time, to offer the opening prayer following the national anthem.
