Stakeholders in Ibarapa Zone Express Confidence in Oyo APC Acting Chairman
All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders from three local government councils in Ibarapa Zone have expressed strong confidence in the ability of Oyo State APC acting chairman, Alhaji Olayide Abas, to restore the party’s former glory ahead of upcoming elections.
The stakeholders, under the auspices of the Ibarapa Zone APC Initiative, visited Abas at the Oyo APC Secretariat in Ibadan to show their support.
The visit was in line with directives from prominent leaders from the zone, including Pa T. A. Jolaoso, Chief T. A. Adenrele, Francis Babalola, Elder Dayo Adeola, and Alhaji Kasumu Jinadu.
Engr. Azeez Adeoye, coordinator of the initiative and Executive Director of the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority, commended Abas for his proven leadership.
He described the acting chairman as a dependable and disciplined leader, capable of revitalizing the party after the crisis that impacted the APC before the last general election.
Adeoye stated, “The entire world knows our new acting chairman is on a rescue mission, and we have no doubt in your ability as an Awoist and an experienced administrator to deliver results.
People from within and outside the state expect much from you as the next general election approaches.
In response, Abas thanked the delegation, expressing that their visit had boosted his morale.
He assured them of his commitment to working tirelessly for the party and its members, citing progress made in engaging key stakeholders to strengthen and reposition Oyo APC for the challenges ahead.
