Samsung launched Domestic Service Experts Overseas Dispatch internationally.

On Wednesday, Samsung unveiled a new initiative to teach its worldwide service centers sophisticated smartphone repair abilities. The tech company dispatched a Galaxy smartphone teacher to India last month to teach staff similar tactics. Additionally, the business aims to apply this knowledge to smart TVs.

Samsung Introduces Smartphone Repairability Program

The firm announced the new project on its Korean newspaper website, saying, “Samsung Electronics Service is spreading its world-class service capabilities overseas[..]Samsung Electronics Service started routinely running the ‘Domestic Service Experts Overseas Dispatch’ program this year.”

The initiative targets South Korea’s repair service quality gap. The business said new worldwide service capabilities will concentrate on repairs and client consultations to enhance user experience.

The tech giant sent Samsung Electronics India a “Galaxy service expert instructor” for the training. The teacher taught teams at eight main service centers nationwide.

The teacher focused on teaching India’s mobile screen repair center single-piece repair. This service center is the nation’s biggest for smartphone display single-piece repair.

Samsung said, “Display unit repair is an advanced repair method that disassembles the display unit, frame, battery, etc. and replaces only the necessary parts. Display unit maintenance requires advanced technical expertise and specialized equipment.” Many nations have achieved similar progress.

Samsung plans to expand the initiative beyond smartphones to other devices. The business will send a home appliance and TV service professional teacher to the Philippines next month to educate local staff about AI home appliances.
