The HMD Crest Series India launch date is July 25; Amazon availability is confirmed
HMD Crest may have a glass finish and self-repair.
The first HMD smartphones sans Nokia branding, the Crest series, will appear in India shortly. A X teaser from the Finnish maker announced the new devices’ arrival date on Tuesday. The teaser doesn’t disclose much about the gadget, but its glass back panel is verified. Amazon will sell HMD Crest in the nation. Phones are reportedly produced in India. The forthcoming series, like current HMD phones, emphasizes self-repairability.
Launch Schedule
HMD India (@HMDdevicesIN) announced the July 25 debut of the HMD Crest series. Brand image displays phone’s back. Amazon India has a landing page on their website to promote new devices.
An Amazon item implies the HMD Crest series’ back panel will be shiny and composed of glass. The next phone emphasizes portrait photography. The phone will also be self-repairable. HMD has selected Bollywood actress Sanya Malhotra the brand representative for the Indian-built lineup.
The Finnish smartphone company has just named the HMD Crest series, but the Crest and Crest Max 5G devices are likely.
HMD Crest may be a branding of HMD Pulse. The latter was released in Europe in April for EUR 140 (Rs. 12,460). Rumors suggest HMD Arrow might launch soon.
The HMD Pulse runs Android 14 and has a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging. Its 6.65-inch HD+ (720×1,612 pixels) LCD screen refreshes at 90Hz. HMD Pulse uses 12nm Unisoc T606 octa-core chipset. It has a 13-megapixel back and 8-megapixel front camera.
