Xiaomi 14T Pro Could Have 50-Megapixel Primary Camera Before Global Launch
Xiaomi 14T Pro may come internationally later this year. A fresh leak has revealed the smartphone’s camera specs ahead of its release. A source says the device would include a triple back camera with a 50-megapixel sensor. A prior report said Leica could adjust the phone’s telephoto camera. The smartphone may potentially have the same specs as the Redmi K70 Ultra, which is expected to launch in China next month.
Leaked specs
@xiaomitimecom said on X (previously Twitter) that the Xiaomi 14T Pro may include a triple back camera configuration and a single front-facing camera with Samsung sensors. The insider also said the device may include a 50-megapixel Omnivision OV50H main camera.
The smartphone may also include a 13-megapixel Omnivision OV13B ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 telephoto lens. Leica may brand the telephoto. The informant claims the front camera will be a Samsung S5KKD1 sensor, however the megapixel level is unknown.
A earlier report said the Xiaomi 14T Pro will launch with the 14T. The report also said that the smartphone’s specs may match the Redmi K70 Ultra. The Xiaomi 14T series may not come in India in September, but it will in several other countries.
Xiaomi HyperOS code with the internal model number N12 references both devices, according to the claim. Xiaomi 14T Pro codenamed “rothko” may use a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. It seems that the Xiaomi 14T was nicknamed “degas” after Edgar Degas, a famous French artist. The internal model number is N12A.
Currently, little is known about the Xiaomi 14T Pro . No official handset information has been released. These leaks should be treated with skepticism until Xiaomi introduces the 14T series.
